Which packaging tape is the best? We can not give an unambiguous answer to that. By far the most packers can work fine with PP-acrylic tape. This is actually the standard tape for boxes and other packaging.
Do you impose more requirements? Then there are tapes with a thicker adhesive layer (High Tack) or tapes with a special carrier, eg PVC, or a different adhesive layer (Hotmelt or Solvent / natural rubber). Other gluing can offer solutions for, for example, faster adhesion or clean removal of the tape. In addition, there are specific conditions such as cold storage which can play a role in the choice.
